Discipleship

Lunch TimeI believe that the Christian life is a life of discipleship. Both being discipled and discipling others. This is more than classes, studies or activities although those also have value. I believe that we as Christians should seek to model the relationship that Jesus had with his twelve disciples. An entire life lived in proximity, using every opportunity to teach, exhort and train. We see this same example followed by the apostles as they drew others into their own lives and taught them through shared ministry. Whether formally or informally, discipleship is something that I seek to be active about.

Though there is a huge need for evangelism and the spreading of the gospel worldwide today, I see an even greater need; that of discipleship. People learn best through examples. It is our duty as Christians to model Christ to those around us. To be intentional about building up others and exhorting them to good deeds. To learn more about this read 2 Thessalonians 3, 1 Timothy 4:12-16, Check out this. Or contact me at isaaclassified@gmail.com because discipleship is my passion and I’d love to talk more with you about it.
